Requirements for the course

You must successfully complete 60 hours of pre-licensing training from a school or provider approved by the Board within 24 months of your submission. There are various online courses as well as classroom courses available in the state.

You must then complete new licensee continuing education, also known as the 12-hour rookie course, by the first renewal date following your original license issue date. Following that, you must complete 12 hours of annual continuing education.

• Complete the following sections of the application: You can fill out an application and send online. A $185.00 application/recovery fee is required. It’s worth noting that the application contains a section in which the supervising broker agrees to personally train and supervise you.
• Along with the completed application, you must also submit evidence of at least a 10th-grade high school diploma. Also, you’ll need a proof of completion of a pre-license course, a copy of your AMP test results, and proof of age (i.e., driver’s license, passport, birth certificate, etc.).
